ParentMail is a service application that is used in over 6,000 schools, nurseries and children’s clubs to communicate to parents / carers. We recommend that all parents / carers use ParentMail because it gives you the flexibility to: Use a free mobile app on Android and iOS to pick up school messages instantly.
How do I register my parents mail?
Registering your ParentMail account can be done in minutes!

Can you have more than one school on ParentMail?
If you have more than one child at the school, you will receive messages for both/all! Click ‘Let’s Go! ‘ to visit your ParentMail feed and to start managing your account. If you have an Android or Apple device, download the free ParentMail App to pick up messages on the go!

How do I get a refund from ParentMail?
Search by name or order ID and then select the order you need to refund. Details of the order are displayed in the right-hand panel. If required, click the View Payments button to see details about the payment and whether it can be refunded. Click the Actions button then select Refund from the drop-down menu.

Can I get money back from ParentPay?
If an item which has been paid online requires a refund due to a trip cancellation, a remaining meal balance on a leaver’s account, or any other reason, it is possible to refund the payment back to the payer’s Parent Account.
Can you cancel a payment on ParentPay?
From the list of pupils/payments shown, click on the Receipt/Refund link. Details of the payment will be shown on the next screen. At the bottom of the screen click on Cancel Payment. On the next screen enter a comment for reference and click Confirm.
How does ParentPay work?
It requires a Direct Debit mandate to be authorised by your bank before payments can be collected (up to 3 working days normally or 6 working days for initial setup). Payments will be processed instantly in ParentPay. This is not a recurring direct debit.
How do I get my money back from ParentPay?
- Navigate to Payment items > Reports.
- Select Payment report.
- Select Advanced options.
- Change the Payment method to ParentPay.

Click the Actions button then select Refund from the drop-down menu. The Refund Order window is displayed. Select the payment item(s) you wish to refund. Enter the Refund Amount (this displays the full amount by default so only needs to be amended for partial refunds) then click the Refund Selected button.

If you’ve got credit in your parent account, you’ll be able to withdraw the cash straightaway on the ParentPay website. You can do this by logging into your ParentPay account and choosing the ‘withdraw’ option on your parent account page – there’s full help on the ParentPay website.
